Local district heating is hot!

Instead of oil, the distict heating plant is fueled  with straw from local farmers. It is this alternative form of heating that the royals wish to take a look at.

“I think it’s exciting. That they think what we do here on Samsø, which is a small drop in the middle of Denmark, is interesting and that it can mean something to them”, says Lars-Bent Maegaard, who is the treasurer at Ballen-Brundby district heating plant, to TV 2 | ØSTJYLLAND.

The court informs that King Willem-Alexander, during his visit, will start the burning by activating the start button.
